I heard that taking medications for heartburn (like Nexium..or Pepcid) will prevent other prescription medications from absorbing fully. The theory is that since they work by blocking acid producers from working they block other meds from being absorbed.
Anyone know if there is any truth to this?
I tried googling it but came up with nothing. I think I heard this on a health forum somewhere online.
